Easements

January 14, 2011

The Town is mailing beach nourishment related notices (and ten year easements to select properties) to three different areas on the ocean-side between Bonnett Street (Mile Post 11) and the Nags Head/National Park Service line (Mile Post 21).

Please read the information below to see which area pertains to you.

Area 1

Oceanfront property owners whose property is located between (and including) 5317 South Virginia Dare Trail and 8827 South Old Oregon Inlet Road.

(These properties already have perpetual easements for beach nourishment from work conducted by Dare County towards a federal project that never took place.)

Area 2

Oceanfront property owners whose property is not located between (and including) 5317 South Virginia Dare Trail and through 8827 South Old Oregon Inlet Road, but is South of Blackman Street (Mile Post 11).

Area 3
