Trash and Recycling Receptacles News Flash sch change pic

There will be no changes to the residential and commercial trash/recycling collection schedule due to Memorial Day on May 31, 2021. The bulk item/brush collection yard will also continue to operate on its normal schedule.

All Town of Nags Head administrative offices will be closed Monday, May 31, 2021 to honor those in our armed forces who gave their lives for our great country.

We have canceled this year's Memorial Day ceremony. To honor those who died while serving our country, we have developed a video explaining the history and importance of that day. We hope you enjoy it.

Have a safe holiday.

Please remember that all fireworks are prohibited in Nags Head and that equipment, such as tents and canopies, cannot be left on the beach overnight. If they are left unattended on the beach between 8 pm and 7 am, they will considered litter and will be collected.
