Ocean Rescue Operating Information
Nags Head Ocean Rescue offers water rescue services from Memorial Day through October, with reduced staffing from the Tuesday after Memorial Day until mid-June and again from mid-August through October. When staffed, lifeguards are on duty at the stands from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Visit our public beach access webpage for the most current information on lifeguard staffing.
