Our town hall and bulk/brush disposal yard will close Friday, February 21, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:15 p.m. to allow all employees to attend an all-hands staff meeting.

Dominion Energy Mailer about March to May Transmission Line Work in Nags Head

Attention Property Owners Along Dominion Energy's Transmission Line in Nags Head

From early March to late May, Dominion Energy will be replacing insulators on their electric transmission line from their Nags Head substation at Mile Marker 15 south to their Oregon Inlet Distribution Point by the fishing center. 

The work will take place seven days/week from 8 am to sunset. 

During the work, there will be temporary lane closures on South Croatan Highway. Please pay attention to the posted signs and traffic cones.

To minimize the impact on the environment and the neighbors, smaller track machines will be used. This will greatly reduce the need for matting along the line. 

This work will not cause power outages and there is no new right of way needed.

The above postcard is being sent to properties along the transmission line. In addition, a door hanger will also be placed on these properties.

Nags Head Ocean Rescue Hiring and Housing for Guards Needed

Do you know someone who is physically fit, loves the water, and likes to challenge themselves? We have the perfect job! Nags Head's Ocean Rescue Division is hiring guards for this summer. A few of the benefits:
