Dowdy Park Farmer's Market 9 am - 1 pm Extended Through September 2020 Every Thursday
The Dowdy Park Farmer's Market has been extended! Look for the market to take place every Thursday in September from 9 am - 1 pm at 3005 South Croatan Highway. Parking is available at Nags Head Elementary School next to the park.

The Town of Nags Head's Unified Development Ordinance (UDO) has been updated with amendments adopted through September 2, 2020. A history of the document's amendments is included behind the cover page.

League of Women Voters of Dare County to Hold Virtual Candidate Forums

The Dare County League of Women Voters, partnering with the North Carolina Coastal Federation, is sponsoring Virtual Candidate Forums this year for the Dare Board of Commissioners and Dare Board of Education races.  

The Board of Commissioners Candidate Forum will take place on Tuesday, September 22 at 7 p.m. and the Board of Education Candidate Forum will take place on Thursday, September 24 at 7 p.m. Visit the League of Women Voters of Dare County web site for more information and to register for the forums, which will use the Zoom webinar platform.

Deadline to Vote in the Next Election is October 9

The upcoming November 3, 2020 General Election will feature several federal, state and local contests.

The voter registration deadline to vote on Election Day, Tuesday, November 3, is Friday, October 9 at 5 p.m.

During Early Voting, voters can register to vote and cast their ballots at the same time. Check your voter registration status or register to vote at
darenc.com/registertovote.

ATTENTION NAGS HEAD RESIDENTS
Voting for the November 3, 2020 General Election will take place at Nags Head Elementary. School and NOT at the Nags Head Board of Commissioners Room, which is where voting has taken place in the past. 

If you are not a Nags Head voter, but would like to find your polling place, visit the Dare   County Elections web site for more information.
