Week of December 19^th

Recycling Collection– Monday Dec. 19 – curbside recycling subscribers only

Blue Route Trash Collection- Monday Dec. 19, Thursday Dec. 22, and Friday Dec. 23

Green Route Trash Collection- Tuesday Dec. 20 and Friday Dec. 23

Commercial Dumpsters Collection- Monday Dec. 19,Wednesday Dec. 21, and Friday Dec. 23

Week of December 26^th

Recycling Collection Monday Dec. 26 – curbside recycling subscribers only

Blue Route Trash Collection- Tuesday Dec. 27 and Thursday Dec. 29

Green Route Trash Collection- Tuesday Dec. 27 and Friday Dec. 30

Commercial Dumpsters Collection Tuesday Dec. 27, Wednesday Dec. 28, and Friday Dec. 30

Week of January 2^nd

Recycling Collection Monday Jan. 2 – curbside recycling subscribers only

Blue Route Trash Collection- Tuesday Jan. 3 and Thursday Jan. 5

Important Notes

Please recycle your cardboard. Cardboard-only dumpsters are available at Town Hall (5401 S. Croatan Hwy.) and Public Works (2200 Lark Ave.).
Commingled recyclables can be dropped off at Town Hall and Public Works 24/7/365.
Town administrative offices will be closed 12/23/2022, 12/27/2022 and 1/2/2023

Trash Collection Route Information

Blue Route - All properties fronting the west side of South Virginia Dare Trail and those east of South Virginia Dare Trail, all properties south of Bark and Bainbridge Streets near Mile Post 11.5 that lie between South Virginia Dare Trail and US 158/South Croatan Highway, and all properties on South Old Oregon Inlet Road.

Normal Schedule

Red Route - Properties in the Old Nags Head Cove neighborhood and properties north of Bark and Bainbridge Streets near Mile Post 11.5 that lie between South Virginia Dare Trail and US 158/South Croatan Highway, except those fronting South Virginia Dare Trail.
