The CDC recently revised their guidance regarding COVID protocols, recommending the wearing of face coverings in indoor spaces, regardless of vaccination status, for those localities with high transmission rates. Dare County is now considered to have a high transmission rate. Therefore, wearing a face covering indoors at Town of Nags Head facilities, including at Board of Commissioners meetings, will be required for all staff and the public when in public spaces. Thank you for your cooperation.
