For any residential delinquencies that occurred between March 31, 2020 and July 29, 2020, the Town of Nags Head Board of Commissioners authorized a 6-month repayment plan of six equal monthly installments for past due water account balances caused during the COVID-19 pandemic.
• Any residential water service balance that became delinquent between March 31, 2020 and July 29, 2020 must be paid in full by February 5, 2021.
• Any residential water service balance that is not paid according to the payment plan terms (a six-month repayment plan of six equal monthly installments) the whole amount under the payment plan becomes due, the payment plan becomes void, and the Town of Nags Head has the right to disconnect the residential water service and apply a late fee penalty.
• All residential water service account balances that become delinquent after July 29, 2020, must be paid within the noted due dates or the Town of Nags Head has the right to disconnect the service and apply a late fee penalty.
• All payments received by the Town of Nags Head will be applied to the oldest outstanding balance first in accordance with existing policies.
