The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency is requiring that all public water systems nationwide document the materials used in every service line connected to their systems to identify potential sources of lead contamination in public drinking water. This includes the water system-owned service lines from the water main to the meter and the customer-owned water service lines from the meter to the house or building.
The Town has completed its survey, which has revealed there is no lead in our water system.
