The Town is grateful for the growing popularity and competitiveness of the Dowdy Park Farmers Market.
To acknowledge and honor the participation of our returning vendors while continuing to recognize, highlight, and promote new vendors, the Town will be receiving applications for ten (10) new vendors this upcoming season. The application process will be open for three consecutive days (March 26- 28, 2024). The link to the application can be found on our Town website https://www.nagsheadnc.gov/614/Dowdy-Park-Events.
At the close of this application period, the Committee for Art and Culture will select the 10 new vendors based on the following criteria:
1) Preference is given to Farmers, Perishables, and Consumables meeting the Dowdy Park Market rules and criteria.
2) Vendors/Artisans producing their own product and meeting the percentage of handmade product as provided in the Market rules and criteria.
3) Vendor is selling a product that the market does not already have multiple other vendors selling.
Vendors will be notified via email from their application, by the end of April.
Dowdy Park Summer Market will be held on Thursday, June 13th – August 15th, 9 AM -1PM.
