There will be no change to the trash collection schedule, or our brush/bulk drop-off yard operating hours, due to the Veterans Day holiday Saturday, November 11.
However, all Town administrative offices will be closed Friday, November 10 to honor our nation's veterans.
Please take the time to attend the Town's annual Veterans Day ceremony Saturday, November 11 at 11 am in front of Nags Head's town hall. It's a heartfelt event that pays tribute to those who have served in our nation's armed forces.
In addition, Nags Head's town hall and Dowdy Park will be illuminated in green to show our support as part of Operation Green Light, beginning November 6. We encourage individuals and businesses to join us in supporting this initiative.
Finally, be sure to visit The Wall That Heals, a traveling, three-quarter scale replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, DC. It will be in at The Soundside Event Site from November 16-19 and will be available for visiting 24 hours/day. Learn more at DareNC.gov/Wall.
