Nags Head's curbside collection of bulk items and brush starts Monday, October 2, 2023.
Before you start moving items to the side of the road for collection, familiarize yourself with what we can and cannot accept. Also be sure to check out the image below to learn how and where to place your items.
If you need to dispose of bulk trash immediately, take your items to our bulk/brush drop off yard at 2200 Lark Avenue. Drive west on Eighth Street, take a left onto Lark, and the yard will be on the left, just after the concrete plant. The yard is open on Mondays and Thursdays from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm, and on Saturdays from 9 am to 3 pm.
You must have a permit to use this yard; a one-day permit is available.
