Our contractor, McKim & Creed, will be starting our annual beach survey today. They will be conducting both land-based and water-based surveys and will be using a pickup truck with the McKim & Creed logo, along with a Kawasaki side-by-side mule. For the water-based survey, they will be using a 26’-28’ survey vessel to perform the hydrographic surveys, see photos below.
The boat will have to come somewhat close to shore to conduct the surveys, so don't be alarmed.
The work will begin today and take 7-12 days to complete, weather permitting.
