Project construction is progressing with storm pipe replacement completed through to approximately 3213 S. Memorial Ave. The pipe replacement work is proceeding from south to north with the removal of existing 24-inch diameter pipe and replaced with a high strength 30-inch diameter pipe. Concrete crews will mobilize this week to begin replacing driveways at the south end of the project as the pipe crews continue to work northward. Weather permitting, construction should be completed in the next 3-4 weeks.
During construction, expect single-lane road closures along the active construction area. We ask motorists and pedestrians alike to exercise caution when circulating within the active construction zone. Weekly project updates will be provided to inform residents of construction progress in addition to potential changes in neighborhood traffic circulation and planned utility service interruptions.
