Community members are invited to do a little spring cleaning and safely clear out old paperwork at the Town of Nags Head Community Shred Event on Saturday, May 16th, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Nags Head Town Hall, 5401 S. Croatan Highway.
Bring your outdated personal documents and watch them be securely destroyed on-site. It’s the perfect chance to tidy up those file drawers, reduce clutter, and protect yourself from identity theft while you’re at it.
The Outer Banks Woman’s Club will also be on-site collecting non-perishable food items for the Food Bank. Donations are appreciated and will help support neighbors in need.
Items accepted for shredding include tax documents, bank statements, canceled checks, travel documents, paycheck stubs, ATM and credit card receipts and statements, insurance documents, and utility bills.
This free event is open to everyone.
