As the holiday season draws near, the Dowdy Park Holiday Markets are preparing to bring a one-of-a-kind shopping experience to Nags Head. We’re thrilled to welcome both vendors and shoppers to this year’s festive series. Below, you’ll find important updates and guidelines for this year’s events, including market rules, application information, and details on the selection process.
Application and Vendor Selection for 2025 Dowdy Park Holiday Markets

Holiday Market Dates
- Saturday | November 8 | 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
- Saturday | November 29 | 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
- Saturday | December 13 | 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Notes
The market rules are attached, outlining the requirement for handmade, handcrafted local items, as well as the geographic radius for vendors offering handcrafts, original artwork, and perishables.
- You will need to provide your NC sales tax number.
- No pictures will be required for the application submission.
Application Details
- The application link will be available online on our Facebook page for a limited window: Wednesday, October 15 from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.
→ After 10 a.m. the application will no longer be accessible. ← - All applications will be time-stamped upon submission.
- We will accept 50 vendors. Acceptance emails will be sent by Tuesday Oct. 21.
- Admission will be a $25 non-refundable fee per market ($75 total). No payment is required at the time of submission. An invoice will be sent via email by Wednesday Oct 29th and needs to be paid by Monday Nov 3rd .
- If you do not have access to a computer, you can pick up an application at Town Hall, 5401 South Croatan Highway. When you return it on October 15 from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m., it will be time stamped.

Selection Process
- After the application period closes, we will review all submissions and remove any that do not meet the updated market rules.
If you commit and fail to attend, it may affect your eligibility for future Dowdy Park markets. Additionally, missing a market you’ve committed to could prevent another vendor from participating.
- After selecting the vendors who meet the rule criteria and commit to all three markets, any remaining spots will be filled based on the time stamp of each application.
