Septic Health Advisory Committee

Background

The 2022 Decentralized Wastewater Management Plan was adopted in April 2022. Recommendations from the plan are now being implemented and will continue to be implemented over several years. The charge of the newly formed Septic Health Advisory Committee will be to provide guidance on the implementation of the Decentralized Wastewater Treatment Plan recommendations, as well as discuss the ongoing septic health program successes and challenges.

The committee will meet quarterly throughout the year (January, April, July, and October), with the first meeting scheduled for January 2023.

Submit an application if you are interested and are a Nags Head property owner and/or resident.
