Town of Nags Head
Environmental Planner Todd Krafft Passed Away Unexpectedly on September 16, 2019

We are heartbroken to announce that our dear friend and beloved co-worker, Todd Krafft, died unexpectedly on Monday, September 16, 2019. Many of you know Todd as he's worked for the Town for 20+ years, most recently as our environmental planner. He's been a true champion for our community's water quality and septic health.

Thank you to those of you who have come by Town Hall this week. We appreciate your patience as we absorb this sudden, incredibly sad, news.

Planning Director Michael Zehner is handling Todd's calls. You can reach him at michael.zehner@nagsheadnc.gov or 252-449-6044.

Rest in peace, friend.

Nags Head Water Bills Have a New Look

Water Billing is Modernizing

Your water bills now have a new look! The post card mailers are being replaced with a self-sealed envelope that will make your bill easier to read.

Keep in mind that blue bills are good, pink bills are bad. What does that mean? Your first water bill will be printed on blue paper; if you are delinquent on your payment, you'll receive the bill on pink paper.  So, make a plan to save the pink paper of the world by paying your water bill on time.

For added convenience, email our water administration department to sign up for e-billing.

The Town offers automatic bank drafts free of change – sign up now. here
