[ARCHIVED] Whalebone Park Public Meeting

sign

The Town of Nags Head invites the public to weigh in on the future of Whalebone Park.  The Park is located in the dynamic Whalebone Junction part of town, close to Jennette's Pier, restaurants, hotels and the beach.

The public meeting will take place on Thursday, March 3, 2022 at the Town of Nags Head Board of Commissioners Room.  The public is invited to drop in any time between 4:30 and 7 p.m. to check out the draft conceptual parks plans, provide feedback, and talk to staff.

There will be no formal presentation at the meeting. Attendees are invited to walk around and view boards that highlight ideas for renovating and invigorating Whalebone Park. Please bring your kids as there will be a kids station with paper and crayons so we can include the youngest members of our community and gain their feedback as well!

If you are unable to attend the public meeting, you can still share your thoughts about the draft Whalebone Park conceptual plans by filling out a quick online survey. That link will go live close to the meeting date and will be located on our webpage.

We hope to see you there. Please remember that masks are required.
