By statute, law enforcement agencies must auction seized, found, and unclaimed personal property at public auction.
All property listed in the document below is in the custody of the Nags Head Police Department. All persons who may have or claim any interest therein to make and establish ownership shall contact the Police Department no later than May 31, 2021, or in default thereof, the unclaimed property shall be sold by electronic auction at www.propertyroom.com. Any property which cannot be auctioned, due to having no monetary value shall be destroyed. All proceeds from the sale will be disbursed according to N.C.G.S. 15-15.
