Sandfencing and Sprigging Update

SFSpriggin

The Town's sandfencing and sprigging project is continuing along the newly nourished beach in Nags Head. With a few days of delay due to Hurricane Dorian as well as recent high wind and surf, project status can be followed with the following map.  The project includes one row of sandfence and the installation of Sea Oats (Uniola paniculata) and Bitter panicum (Panicum amarum) to assist with dune stabalization. If you have questions about the project, email Engineering Technician Kate Jones or call her at 252-449-4209.
