Subscription-Based Curbside Recycling Service
TFC Recycling of Chesapeake, Virginia, will be providing a $9/month subscription-based curbside recycling service to Nags Head homeowners. We're building a list of potential subscribers for TFC because they need at least 440 residences to begin the service, which we aim to begin in May 2021. - Homeowners will contract directly with TFC for the service, which will cost $9/month. (To encourage curbside recycling, the Town is subsidizing TFC's bid of $14/residence by $5.)
- TFC will bill homeowners directly for the service.
- Collection of recyclables will take place on Mondays all year long. (To accommodate this, the Town will be refining its trash schedules in the spring of 2021.)
- The items collected by TFC will be recycled.
- Further information regarding the blue recycling carts currently in place at residences in Nags Head will be forthcoming.
